I accidentally claimed my child 2 years in a row ..and it's my ex's turn to file her
this year. So at this point, we have both filed for her. I need to ammend my tax
return (although I have already received the refund) .
Can you tell me how to go about doing that? I used turbo tax..thanks!

You need to file form 1040x to submit the revised tax information. Since you used turbotax (online?) to file your return, they have detailed step by step instructions in their website for amending a return filing using their site. See the instructions at

If you purchased desktop version the instructions should be similar as their online and desktop versions are very similar.
