Child and Dependent Care Credit 2006/08/10 08:09 Karma: 0
You may be able to claim the credit for child and dependent care, if you paid someone to care for your child or a disabled dependent living with you for more than half of year. You can claim the expenses, if you (and your spouse if you are married) are either working, looking for work, a full time student, or disabled and can't take care of themself.

The care provider cannot be your dependent or under age of 19.

Is it worth switching the day care provider ?? 2006/09/25 09:25 Karma: 0
I am planning to switch my non licensed day care provider (my neighbour who is a house wife) to a licensed one. How much tax credit we would get if we do so ? We make around $125K per year. Does someone tell how to calc credit ??
