Find Tax Services

Hi,
I received an excess income of around $3000.00 in the year 2005, which I was not supposed to receive. However, I was made to repay the excess income in the following year (i.e. in 2006). So in summary, I paid tax (in 2005) for income which I eventually repaid to my employer.


Can someone help me how I can claim the return for tax on the repaid income?

Please note that the repaid income is not taken care in my 2006 w-2 form.
