Does one take a tax deduction for bus fares to work from New Jersey to New York?

Bus commute to work is not deductible. OK what about if you drive your car during work for customer pickup, drop to customer car parking, etc. If the customer tip you do we have to pay taxes for the extra help. This tip is different from the tip paid at the table.
