Is it possible to negotiate with the IRS for back taxes?.

How do I set up a payment plan with the IRS for back taxes, that is fair to me and removes the penalties?

Give a call to IRS help line or contact a Tax Clinic if you qualify. Tell them you can only pay whatever you can afford. They will still cahrge you for the penalties but may come up with a payment plan which will work out for both parties.
